Purpose

The aim of this ministry is to minister to the social and physical needs of the members of NFC.  As it says in Matthew 25:35-36

For I was hungry and you gave me food;

I was thirsty and you gave me drink;

I was a stranger and you took men in;

I was naked and you clothed me;

I was sick and you visited me;

I was in prison and you came to me.

Membership 

Members who serve in this Ministry must have a heart for people, be sensitive to their needs and willing to serve as unto the Lord.

This service you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God (2 Corinthians 9:12)

Responsibilities

  1. Sick & Shut In: Visit the sick and shut in.
  2. Welfare: Be sensitive to needs of members not working or experiencing financial difficulties.
  3. Weddings, Births & Deaths: Organize a gift from church, visit family, purchase cards etc.
  4. Social Events: Organize social events for church.
